Pakistanis are looking forward to the next elections and anticipate a transparent voting procedure.
In a recent Pakistan Pulse study, 76% of Pakistanis said they would accept the results of the poll, while 17% said they had no opinion.
The survey also reveals that 77% of rural and 74% of urban residents will accept the election’s decision, indicating that rural residents have more faith in election results and transparency.
Seventy-nine percent of voters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 78 percent in Punjab, 63 percent in Balochistan, 74 percent in Sindh, and 53 percent in the Islamabad Capital Territory will accept the election results. Nonetheless, 56 percent of those who might prefer not to vote agree with the poll’s findings.
The fact that the vast majority of people in Pakistan accept the election results shows that they fully trust the openness of the voting process and see democracy as a means of advancing and developing their nation.
